The Alumni Association acts as a bridge between the past and the present of the Institution. Students who have passed out can come back and share their experiences on and off the campus with the current batch of students and help them to improve their performance in studies and also visualize a planned career path. The Association takes efforts to tap the financial sources through the donations of the alumni and use the finances for the betterment of the institution, their alma mater.

The Association General Body met twice in 2011-12 and addressed issues related to students’ academic and non-academic affairs on the campus. Some of the problems of the students were brought to the notice of the authorities. Old students employed came forward to extend all their help to their alma mater in all possible ways. Some suggested that students approach the companies wherein they are working now for doing their projects and future career planning. Some offered their experience and expertise to be utilized for the students undergoing various PG programmes at the Centre. They also gave a list of prospective employees for their employability and further academic improvement.
