The institution has a Women Care Centre with all the resting facilities for girls. The Government Health Centre, Lawspet, situated very near to the institution which takes care of students’ health problems

The Centre provides scholarship and financial aid to the students and scholars. On an average, 18.6% of the students have benefited by scholarships and fee ships provided by the Government of Puducherry during the period from 2012-13 to 2016-17. 16%, 14%, 28% and 35% of the students have benefited by scholarships and fee ships provided by the Government during the years 2013-14, 2014-15, 2015-16 and 2016-17 respectively. Besides, the Centre has implemented a number of capability enhancement and development schemes during the period from 2012-13 to 2016-17. The Centre conducted coaching classes for Civil Service Examinations & Entry in to services, coaching classes for NET / CSIR and employability skills and entrepreneurship training programmes during the year 2015-16. On an average, 11% of the students have benefited from the capability enhancement and development schemes during the period from 2012-13 to 2016-17.

The Department of Social Welfare, Government of Puducherry, runs a Boys’ Hostel in the adjacent campus of this Centre where the SC/ST and economically backward OBC and MBC students are given free board and lodging. The working Women’s hostel and Women’s Hostel for SC/ST students situated near the institution cater to the needs of girls students.

The institution brings the students from far-off villages at a concessional rate of Rs.200/- a year per student. The Government of Puducherry runs a number of special buses for students from almost all the corners of Puducherry region. Separate buses are run for girls students also.

The Centre has a students’ canteen which serves the students at concessional rates.
